GASTONE ROSSILLI (Vinnie Caputo) just returned to New York from Seattle, where he appeared as Dominic in the world premiere of A Grave Undertaking. He last appeared as Lysimachus in the New York Shakespeare Festival production of Pericles. Before that he was at Lincoln Center in Ellis Rabb's production of The Merchant of Venice. He toured the country in the David Merrick production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. In the Oscar-winning film Midnight Cowboy, he and Viva played Hansel and Gretel. He also appeared in a television documentary on the life of Melina Mercouri, playing Orestes to Miss Mercouri's Electra. Off-Broadway, Mr. Rossilli has been seen as Achilles in Iphigenia in Aulis, opposite Irene Papas, and at the Chelsea Theater Center as Posthumus in William Golding's The Brass Butterfly and as Martin in W. B. Yeats' Unicorn from the Stars. He is a former member of the APA Phoenix Repertory Company. When not appearing in New York, Mr. Rossilli has appeared in leading roles in regional theater all across the country.
